Muirfield RT Dog Show 2019

We had a delightful time at the  Muirfield Riding Therapy Fun Dog Show, on Sunday, 10th March in West Fenton.

Despite the cold and wet weather (snowy in some nearby areas!), there was a good turnout of people and pooches, making for a difficult decision for judges on the day.

Congratulations go to the winners of all the classes, and especially to Millie the Old English Bulldog puppy, who came top in a very competitive Prettiest Bitch Class and then took the final Champion of Champions prize.  Part of her award will be a free Barking Cat photo session, and we’re very much looking forward to that!

Huge thanks to all the volunteers and staff at Muirfield Riding Therapy for organising such a wonderful community event again this year.

The charity has been providing therapy riding sessions free-of-charge for children and adults with various disabilities across East and Mid Lothian since 1989. It is volunteer-led and fully self-funded, relying on events and the generosity of individuals and organisations for its work.

Thanks also to the local firms that supported the event with their stalls including The Dog EditBwuntys Scwibbles, Moonstone Makes, East Lothian Canine Clinical Canine Massage Centre, and NB Dogs of North Berwick.

Here is a selection of photos from the day. Get in touch if you would like copies of images from the event. Thanks!
