Direlton Dog Show 2019

Posted on 27/05/2019 by Admin under Events

Early summer clouds and showers didn’t put off the hundreds of people and pooches who took part in the Direleton Dog Show on Saturday, 25th May.

The event was organised by Staffie Smiles Rescue, a Scottish charity that rescues, fosters and rehomes Staffordshire Bull Terriers from all over the UK, particularly those at risk of being euthanised.

The show was open to dogs of all breeds, types, shapes, sizes and ages with ribbons and trophies awarded for classes including best bitch, best dog, puppies, seniors, rescues and fancy dress.

The show also included the famous “Doggy Dash” with doggos ranging from wee Jack Russells to Border Collies all giving it their best shot.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this lovely community event happen. We hope it managed to raise lots of funds for a charity that makes happy endings for Staffies and people alike.
